It was early on a grey, windy afternoon when Johnathon heard someone at the front of his cave. John brother Korvic, and his cousin Crimson Crede, turned around and saw a dark figure outside the cave. He was about 5’11, he was wearing smoke grey slacks, white button up shirt with a sky blue tie.

Athoss: “Im here to see the man known as The Snake. Where is he?”

John/Snake: “You’re looking at him. What do you want?” asked John.

“I need some rather dirty work done for me, and I need it done in a clean and timely fashion.”

“And what might that be?”

“How much do you charge?”

“Depends on the work. What do you want done? Or should I say who do you want gone?”

Athoss thought to himself, “This guy is a killer and he doesn’t hide it. This might be easier than I thought.”

“I need my boss killed in an efficient, timely manner. And I want to set an example.”

“But, as you can see, I am a little pre-occupied right now with plans for myself. I can get to your boss when I am done here. We can do this some other time, right?”
Athoss came over to a table where blueprints lie of a town.

“Looks like you guys are running an extreme operation here. Also looks like you’re going to need a little help.”

“We don’t need help. As a matter of a fact, I can do this myself. My cousin Crimson and my brother Korvic are here only to make sure this goes down without a hitch.”

“I can help you.”

“Like I said, I don’t need your help.”

“You will. I see these are blueprints of Vettica. They have a military, and a pretty strong one at that. It looks like you will be entering the city, and if you plan to escape alive you will need some help. How do you plan to get in?”

“Getting in is no problem. We’ll just take the underground sewer system they built under the city. They built it because…well…lets just say that the city floods. We are gonna take that entrance, and possibly as an exit.”

“They’ll have it secured off and you know it. Now, when you get in and do what you want, I can have your escape vehicle outside the city, awaiting for the sound of the explosion. Then we can move in.”

“How do you know there’s going to be an explosion?”

“How else do you expect to kill those people that are on the blueprints there. You intend on securing them in a small room and killing them all. How else would you do it?”

“Fine, you may come along, but I need something in return.”

“What is that?”

“Explosives. Lots and lots of explosives.”

“Why explosives?”

“Well, I want to destroy that underground tunnel. Everything on top of the tunnel will collapse. I want to make sure they remember the name John Bender.”

“Why do you hate this city anyway?”

“That is irrelevant right now. I will tell you when the time is right. Now we must go.”

“But what about my boss?”

“Name and location, and how do you want him killed?”

“Explosion. Not huge, but in his bedroom. With his wife in there. His name is Escaelus. You can find him in the City Hall after dark, on the third floor. His room isn’t hard to find.”

“Escaelus, as in the ruler of Soldari?”

“Yes. Is there a problem?”

Snake thought about this. “Not at all.”

“You know, there are some other conditions that we have to smooth out.”

“Such as?” quizzed Snake.

“We can work on this later. You look like you are in a hurry.”

And with that, Snake, Korvic, and Crimson left to do a little last minute scouting around Vettica.

“We should talk again sometime in the near future.” Yelled Athoss.

“Tomorrow night, dusk.”

“Wait, Snake. Don’t do ANYTHING til we talk again. Understand?”

“Don’t tell me what to do, Athoss. I’ll do my part, you do yours.”
