Sideboard cards vs. Turboland

Beyond Dominia: Casual and Beginner's Advice Mill: Sideboard cards vs. Turboland

I need some good stompy sideboard cards against turboland. I was thinking some of these might work:

Ground Seal (So they can't use Gaea's Blessings)
Tormod's Crypt (First turn, if they have no FoW, they're screwed for the whole game)
Crumble (Horn of Greed)
Thoughtleech (So it takes them a long time to kill you... This might even help with time limit rules =))
Simplify (Exploration/Fastbond)

Any other good cards, or your thoughts about the cards on my list?
Keep in mind this is type 1.

Thanks. :)

it really depends on the turboland version.... if it runs oath then weaver is game isn't it? vs someting like turboneven, you need to kill horns. i say just try to overrun them, board in those free creatures from masques. the problem with boarding anything you suggested is that they arn't threats so they slow you down.

on a side note, i'm in a car right now.... and i havve an internet connection

The Card the kill turboland is a Jesters Cap. If Resolved the game turns in to a 5 hr match that thay cant win ;) if u runing green i say try anti counter stuff like City of Solitude or blow there lands up with Tysunma

if its an oath-style controllish version, you must take advantage of the fact that it gold-fishes significantly slower than turbo nevyn. So basically anything fast is good: rushwood legate is a good choice to sideboard since it will be a free creature in most cases. The other cards mentioned are too narrow to sideboard in I think, even crumble since null rod is so much more effective against problem artifacts.

Against turbo-nevyn style combo its tougher since TN can approach academy speed kills sometimes. Depending on the build, null rod can be strong. I don't play against version ever so I don't know if you have a chance to race it or not. Legate would again seem like a good choice. Note that legate is better when you go second.

Ankh of Mishra might be a good idea, though I've never tried it.

For Stompy, try to outrace. You should be fast enough for the versions that don't run Oath, but if against the Oath versions... well, Tormod's Crypt is a thought if you can sneak it in early.

Don't bother with crap you'll never get to cast, cards like Cap and City of Solitude are great, when they resolve. Stick to cards that fit your curve and don't disrupt your tempo.

Ankh of Mishra if I recall, was more of a Sligh SB against Oath though I've never really tried it in Stompy...

His turboland version doesn't run oaths. Its only kill cards are Treetop Villages and Faerie Conclaves.

He just gets his whole library and reshuffles it with Gaea's Blessing, getting himself a whole bunch of turns...

I might try Ankh of Mishra.

And Lord of the Goats, my stompy is a quick stompy with only 10 lands. I rarely get 5 lands out before I finish the game, so I don't think Overrun would be a good idea.

i was not refering to the card overrun..... rather to just not worrying about a combo version and just racing them. i play turboland (both type 1 and 1.x) regularly and personally i wouldn't counter an ankh of mishra because i have ways around it (glacial chasm, zorb, keg), make sure he dosn't. you can race an oath version easily as long as they don't have oath (or weaver/hydra/hellion). are you running winter orb? it stopps turboland from going infinite if they can't kill it, and is screws with man lands really bad too. in my 1.x turboland i think that's the last card i want to see. my version actually maindecks a keg just to deal with it.
