most of you probably dont remember me. i remember elrohir and sky(if his name is the same)cloak(ditto) and shadow....thats about it. my one actual story that was completed was the one about wingroot and fereno....etc....and then i started one that ended up not getting completed because of the loss of an internet connection. now im on a pIII with a good connection, so im back.

if anyone remembers me(or if you dont, but are from the time of the wingroot story) fill me in on anything you feel is important(and especially on how the RBS turned out)and how shadows story turned out without my necromancer character.

btw, is that the real sage advisor or just elrohir posing as him because hes still gone

i heard a theory on why heroes dont die in the fantasy world, that i think should be put into effect here. ill link you guys too it, its on a warcraft3 fansite(still not out...)

Actually, it's Shadow posing as Sage Advisor. I'm attempting to contact Thrakkiss for use of *his* character, though...

Anyhoo, welcome back! Info on how the RBS turned out is on the RPM HP.

Scroll down far enough, and you can probably find whatever you wrote. We have posts from nearly a year ago still up.

heres the hero thing, cut, glued, and reworked to fit phamea. plus uve tried my best to describe most of the different choices as your character(but no need to live by these rules.)

the theory is that your run of the mill footman that can fight 12 enemies at once isnt exactly run of the mill. so what changes this? magic. not like magic of shooting lightning bolts at each other, but passive magic. whether this guy knows it or not, the mana going through his body is either giving him the intelligence or the speed or the strenght and whatnot to fight these 12 guys. magic could also make him resistent to certain types of magic, again passively. like maybe a fireball would reduce that footman to ashes, but anothe footman, whose only mgic is the resistence ot fire, will be fine, and can continue fighting. the differen type of mana, the different type of strenths. for example, when encoursed with blue mana, the footman will gain intelligence, and possibly resistence to water type attacks. these passive abilities depend on the character as a whole too. someone that is particularly strong, might get his strength enhanced. but if he is slow, it will not help his speed.(this also applies to spellcasters) also, if this footman worships any god or something of the sort, he will get his passive abilities (if any, again, spellcasters too) that are similar to the gods abilitis(not as strong of course.) this is either done because the god granted them, or the mana inside went with what the guy thought(depends on if you beleive in religoun or not). also, these abilties(or spells for the spellcasters) might only do something when the footman is feeling a certain emotion. maybe when hes really really mad,he gets super human strength and speed. also, the person's personality will affect the magic(both types) a direct and impatient person will likely have abilities/spells that get right to the point- kill. while a more patient person will have more strategic abilities/spells that thinking is required to find a use.

heres a list of some basic character classes, most other classes will fall under one of these
(archer is a warrior type, wizard is a mage type, anything ending in mancer is a mancer type, and anything else is a sorcerer type)
warrior
magic: passive
variations: necro-, pyro-, and the like: gets passive abilities according to the prefix.
-mage: get spells
typical personality- impatient and direct

mage
magic: spellcasting
variations- necro- pyro- and the like: gets spells of that type, but still will have a few other spells
warrior- : gets warrior skill, and possibly passive magin
TP: obsessed with power(most arent crazy though, but some are), so alwyas trying to get better ad better at magic.

-mage
magic: spellcast
variations: necro- , pyro-, and the like(no regular mancer, all must focus on something) focuses secifically on that type, no other- a necromancer is completely with raising the dead and healing and the like, while a pyromancer is all fire baby, all fire:)
TP: obsessed with whatever his/her amgic focuses on. compared to a mage, he/she is more powerful in the specific area(a necromancer is better with raising the dead spells then a necro mage) yet the mage type has a few other related, but still not of that type spells.(necromage will be able to summon a dragon of the black magic type, while a necromancer is forced to raise it from the dead.

sorcerer
magic- spellcast
variations- none, a sorcer is basically a mgic user that doesnt research, etc...
TP- cant say.....can be so many

note: your warrior doesnt have to be blessed with passive magic if we use this, its jsut an option, and it should start weak.

this could be posted on the RPM HP if elro decides to adopt it, but it wouldnt be a very strict following of this, just the basics

By Burn, the Keeper of the Flame (Fereno) on Thursday, May 31, 2001 - 10:19 pm:

oh yeah, then theres the townspeople. if they have passive magic, then it goes into their skill. for example, a doctor will be able to make potions of healing, instead of the pathetic doctors of this time.
