Greetings everyone! I know I promised to finish up the maps back near the beginning of the year...wow, it kills me how bad time flies in this place sometimes...Hard t'believe it's been two and a half years since I was involved in a truly active storyline. :) But anyway...I went back and replaced that gawdawful Dantimos map (After years of fruitless effort, I've reverted to simply calling our "main continent" Dantimos. What the hell, the USA is in North *America*...)

Due to the intense amount of information on the place, I split the map into two parts: Geographic and Political. Just like our ol' school textbooks...

geographic

Dantimos Geographic key:

(Note: This just covers what is at each location, rather than a full description. I'll work out proper descriptions later...)

Continental Divide:
1.) Ursk Mountains
2.) Badlands
Dantimos proper
3.) Azhul plains
4.) Valley of Thorn
5.) Azhul valley
6.) D'ner river / basin
7.) Calem forest
8.) Bay of Scales
9.) Twilight mountains
10.) White sea
11.) Shaharazad
12.) Fharh plains
13.) Lower Dragonbacks
14.) Upper Dragonbacks
15.) Deep Shadow forest
16.) New Avalon
17.) Coastal plain
Oceana
18.) Forbidden Isles
19.) Sea of Ayre

political

Dantimos Political key:

(Note: see above)

Continental Divide
1.) Surussa
2.) Mensk
Western Dantimos
3.) Southport
4.) Valley of Thorn
5.) Twilight mountains
6.) City of Solitude
7.) Oor-Tael
8.) Pheodran
9.) Thramis
10.) Justice Keep
11.) Whayn-Fharh
12.) Loebar
13.) Generia
14.) Deep Shadow
15.) New Avalon
16.) KAAT'N
17.) Planarth
18.) Shaharazad Forest
19.) Troll ruins
20.) Northshir
21.) Hammerheim

The dashed lines represent borders; red for Dantimos, blue for Surussa, purple for KAAT'N. The green represents the range of the residents of the Shaharazad forest, mostly tribal/feral elves. The gray in the lower right signifies the Kobolds. The smaller divisions within Dantimos signify its different princedoms.

I added a few new locales, and brought back some old ones. The new items will be explained when I post a thorough description. ALSO: If there's something that should be on the map and isn't (remember, I haven't been keeping 100% track of this place lately), please let me know.

There's no map.

By Thrakkiss on Wednesday, November 22, 2000 - 09:07 pm:

Yeah, sorry, BD is refusing to allow me to upload. I'll post elsewhere and just link...

"Time out" is gay.

By Ravyson on Wednesday, November 22, 2000 - 09:16 pm:

Bah! Non-uploading baaad!

Sorry, I'm channelling my history teacher.

By Thrakkiss on Wednesday, November 22, 2000 - 09:57 pm:

Arrrgh. I can't upload to anywhere decently from this crappy connection...but I did get the maps online. Unfortunately, they're chopped at the bottom, I can't fix that until tomorrow when I re-upload from a different location. For now go to:

http://www.geocities.com/thrakkiss/dantimos_geo.jpg

for the first map, and

http://www.geocities.com/thrakkiss/dantimos_polit.jpg

for the second.

Apologies to all.

I'll see if I can do anything about that...
