Shard finished his story and waited for Xanthos to answer his request.
I understand now. So you have been away, training in another world, for 19 years? And now you need my help in finding this 'Necronis'? Well, I suppose I can help you. I cannot tell you exactly where this person is, but I can give you a general area that you can search. Is that enough?
Shard nodded his head, and said "Yes, that should be enough. Me and Aphiron can find him once we have an idea as to where he might be. But I also would like to know if you could give us a refresher course on the use of magic? As I said, I have refrained from using magic for nineteen years and can barely even feel the world's mana, let alone tap into it. Aphiron also wants to learn some magic, if you can teach us."
Yes, I can teach you. But you must use what I teach you wisely, young ones, or I shall not be pleased. This Necronis you speak of, misuses magic to harm others and to further his own ends. You mustn't do the same. You may use it to protect you in battle against him, but nothing more. If you agree with my terms, then I shall teach you.
Shard and Aphiron stood up. "Yes, I understand" they said in unison, then laughed. Xanthos gestured for them to sit down, then began his lecture....
(OOC: I will continue this tomorrow probably, Tuesday if I'm too busy then. End OOC.)

"For this I train one more year than seven...eight years!"
"I am in the woods."
Funniest damn thing I've read in Inquest in four years.
What? I don't get it... I don't get issues of Inquest very often, and now the stupid Borders in town, plus at least one, if not both, of the comic book stores in town have stopped selling it. But what exactly is the joke? The first part is funny, but I don't get the second part. Ah well.... *shrug*
The pain I inflict shall be PAIN!!
BTW, Mist: Go read the latest issue of Inquest...or at least, the last four pages of it...
