I've read in the Parfait Primer a little note which says that with replenish you can put your Pariah or Spirit link on the opponent's Morphling. But the Shadow fellow was not sure of this.
What is the right rule ?
You can.
The creature enchantment comes back as a permanent and not as a spell that uses the stack.
To make it very simple, since it comes back as a permanent, it no longer needs to announce a target and is not affected by untargetability.
It can't come back into play unless there's a creature on the board, though, so I still don't get it, but that was the ruling.
Thanks Rakso.
Just another way to kill Superman, always a good news...
Why kill him. Use and abuse him.
Note the controller of the Morphling should respond to the Replenish by giving Morphling +3/-3 to prevent the steal.
I believe the same ruling allows Takklemaggot to hit untargetables (at least it did in the past). can anyone confirm or deny this? (Not that it is very likely but can you imagine Takklemaggot killing Superman!! The wurm has turned)
Untargetability doesn't affect Confiscate or anything, but he said Parfait.
Rakso,
Don't you think the Green-White Enchanteress version of the Parfait could run stuff like Bargain, The Abyss, Confiscate or Treachery ?
With the Tax-Rack combo, perhaps with two little Squee, they could easily be quickly discarded and then replenished...
A key in the old Type II Replenish decks was the ability to hard cast everything then use Replenish to YawgWill.
Otherwise, it's all too easy to wait and counter Replenish, which was what happened with junk like Confiscate.
