A little fortelling: The revolutionizing of a metagame?
I see in the future set, a card, a card that will casue complete and utter upheaval in the T1 and 1.X Metagames.
First: A quick summary of the current Teir 1. To put is succinctly, they all (read "both") have one thing in common. The card that makes almost every other card in the deck worthwhile. A card which will never be restricted because it's "too easy to deal with". Figured it out yet? Superman (read "Morphling"). Ah the tyrannical reign of the man of steel. With out it, FoF would just be another good card instead of a gamebreaker. And BBS and Keeper would just be two more decks that win alot of the time.
Now for your fortune: Yes, a card. Soon to be printed:
3-4cc, Instant, Each player sacrifices a creature. [This] cannot be countered by spells or abilities.
You're session has ended, please deposit 25 cents for another fortune.

An uncounterable Innocent Blood that cost like 2B would be help against Morphling.

That would be funny, if i had out a gorilla shaman and a morphling... 4 cc shaman killer is kewl.

I think that if this card does see print, it will be used, and with good results.

However, Morphling is just the messenger (yes a messenger of bloody death, but still just a messenger).
It is the controll/ permission player behind the morphling (if they are a good player) that makes them win! He/she will still find another way to stick it in and break it off!

Morphling is (in my opinion) the strongest victory condition, and I stand behind the big blue bastard, but a permission player doesn't NEED a Morphling.

Morph does make it easier and faster to win.. but it is the Control that the keeper player generates is one that even a shaman could go the distance, or a fireball, or stroke.

I have seen Kevin Green (#1 in Kansas) win with his 5 color permission deck, after being capped twice (they capped 2 morphlings, a shaman, a fireball, and a stroke of genius), he won by recurssing a single lightning bolt for 15 points of damage!

Although it will hurt control, if this 4cc morphling killer is printed, keeper will just adapt again.

My 2 centz

!AY que Mierda! Duress/mindtwist, Multiple Morphlings (which BBS runs) or any decent recursion (like Keeper or Oath runs) makes this card weak. any one who has experience against suicide black or pox, where card redundancy ensures that an occasional edict will get through, has no problems and knows how to play around this.

OSE runs morphling but rarely kills with them just though i should say

The problem with Morphling is that it allows a control player who is losing to win. It makes all other kill methods second rate. There will be no new cards to deal with it but is it possible that she will be the first restricted type I creature since Ali from Cairo? (How silly does that look with hindsight?)

This is a very worthy idea. Someone should try to push it more, to see if we can get it or something like it printed.
