Anyone play Myst Exile here? I've opened the elevator and the Tusks with Red and Blue gems behind the door. I cna't figure out what to do with the 4-bead wheel domahickies, or how to get into the third Tusk (the one above the d-mic flower).
Please don't give it away straight up, hints are nice.
On a side note i may be entering the ToC for the first time.

i know that, but back in the day the t1 mill was at least half off topic or community. It was cool. Now all the fun posts have been delegated.
They were always dedicated, just not properly enforced.

Myst III came out a little while back and costs about $35 cdn. I got it for christmas, so i don't know exactly/
Its hard to give a hint: I'll break it up into two parts:
1) you pretty much focus the wheelies on each other

Actually, this is a good time to credit my girlfriend for providing this solution. She is playing Myst 3, I am not. She provided the hints here.
2) and then at the rainbow door, press the colors in the order that you set the wheelies
i'm already in that one, and one other. It's the things inside that have me stumped :p
Here's a very subtle hint about what to do inside the tusks: do you know the room at the top of the tower, where the guy who took the book left a recording? (the one the elevator leads to) On the edges of that room, there are several devices which can be focused to look at various points on the island...
To get into the tusk above the flower, you need to focus the microphone on something specific and leave it in place for several seconds; I can't tell you more than that because I don't remember. :-)
