Beyond Dominia: The Rumor Mill: Is this a good trade?

By Jay-Z on Friday, January 11, 2002 - 10:39 pm:

I just got back from FNM, and I won two foil DCI Soltari Priests. I traded away one of them for:

1 Desolation Angel
1 Vindicate
1 Foil DCI Fireblast
1 Clone (Revised)
3 Mystic Snake
1 Suffocating Blast
1 Lord of Tresserhorn
57 Random Apocalypse uncommons and commons

I know that the Snakes, Vindicate, and Suffocating Blast are pretty popular cards...It seemed like a nice deal to me, but I'm not sure of the price value of the Soltari Priest I traded.

Going by your personal opinion, the demand for them, and how much they're generally sold for (on ebay or in real life), did I get a good deal?

I may also trade another foil Soltari Priest for a Shadowmage Infiltrator and $5 tomorrow. I want to know the values of foil Soltari Priests before I do it, though.

Thanks in advance.

Wow, you ripped the living hell off some guy.

DCI cards are generally worth $10-15 unless its rare( vamp tutors, ball lightnings etc.)

Heh. I really cashed in on that one, then :).

I'll probably trade the other one for a Finkelmage and $5, but I'll try and talk the guy into throwing in a bit more :).

You wouldn't believe the offers I am getting for those cards...

Umm, the Priests are worth less than most previous DCI foils because they're used much more rarely. Right now they'll go for a HIGH of $10. They'll drop down to about 3-4 by the end of the month.

he he cool I love them and I love DCI cards...seems like a good combination
