OK, so we could only play one game bc my sis compeltely freaked out, in need of the comp, and we had technical problems 8(

Anyway, here's what it looked like, and can be summarized to "DAMN WILL!" 8)

Manic wins coin flip.

T1-3:not much...usual land laying; he got a start with 2 mox, i think.
T4(Sylvester):Blood Moon off Plain, Plateau and mox perl.
T5(Manic):Casts Shaman, kills my mox.
T6 to T9: Manic Goes in Shaman Beatdown Mode, while i do nothing except lay lands, and he manages to cast 3 FoF!!! _3_, *%&&*/$"! 8) Oh, and he gets all moxen except for jet.
He throws away two morphling, which he couldn't anyway, until he got vindicate.
(life totals: 17 Sylvester - 19 manic)
T10(Sylvester):Finally, i get some offence: I draw a Shard, cast it. In Resp, manic casts his 4th FoF! He gets.... Sol and Stroke.
T14(Sylvester):Cast Rector, FoW. Start phoenix beatdown. Casts Peace of Mind.
T15(Manic):check THAT out. EOT:mystical for regrowth. Regrowth for Stroke. Stroke for some. cast lotus, sac for black -> will. Using floating, cast morphling(gets lotus back and sac), kills phoenix with vindicate(sac in response to kill shaman), cast another morphling, and regrowth for something(nfi).

Goes into double morphling beatdown mode... Single, i could have raced with peace of mind+phoenix, but double... URGH! 8)

Very good game, except for my ******* sister(which is right beside me, i hope she ain't reading voer my shoulder 8)

Conclusion:I need to see if i really need more offence, or it was just a fluke, not draing anything sueful in like 3 turns 8(

Here goes again:

i must add that the technical problems were pretty bad. game one, i diconnecte on turn one, with a great hand, and sylvester had a "BAD hand" in his words. we start a new game. turn one i mulligan a no-land hand, then with my new hand, drop two moxes, balance (sylvester loses four cards) and drop the now useless LOA. turn two i d.t., thinking about going for a fow to make sure no blood moon can drop, but decide to go for mindtwist indtead. he drop the blood moon, and i'm screwed. then the game crashes again. we make a list of everyhting on the board, graveyard, etc. decide to trust each other on what we have in hand, and start a new game, putting everyhting in place. we keep going. i get all the moxes except black, and find myself cursing the vindicate (instead of teh d-blow i used to have). i fof 4 times, stroke for 9, and find nothing. he starts phoenix beatdown, and finally i draw the lotus. lotus gives me vindicate and will. will gives me lotus, morphling, regrow 2nd morphling, timewalk, and mystical for another vindicate. timewalk turn i vindicate the phoenix (losing my monkey), drop superman #2, and start the beatdown. he using his phoneix with the peace of mind every turn to gain 3 life. he drops another blood moon, i decide not to fow it, since even with blood moon i win in two turns, and beat him down til the end. Yawgmoth's will is a beautiful card.

a nice topdeck lets me get the cop red out when he was tapped out after a counter war for a rector. unfortunately, it was never used. next 300 turns are draw-go, with an uneventful fof that got me nothing but a few more moxen. he makes two frustrated attempts at blood moons, one of which lasts almost a full turn on the board. he drops a cursed totem, i let it stay out, since i have no morphling anywhere in sight (one in GY, one buried in my deck) and a vindicate in hand. two turns later morph comes out, i vindicate cursed totem, since i need morphs abilities to counteract the useless abyss i've had in play for like 50 turns.

somethine like two turns later, i topdeck demonic tutor, tutor for a yawg will, will for morph #2 and vindicate his peace of mind, since at only 2 damage a turn, my single morph might not have done 18 full damage in the 11 turns i had left in the game before i decked. after that, well, game over.
