Last night, actually it was early in the morning I decided to go to #bdchat. There I found bogey and so we had our match.

Game 1: i win the roll and go first. Bogey manages to empty his hand destroying some of my lands and managing to empty my entire hand.

He eventually drops a factory, but a couple of Soltari Monks (one of which was armored) win the damage race.

Game 2: i decided not to side out the armors since I had game 1 thanks to it. Big mistake, since this meant less disenchant spells which would be needed vs void and dystopia.

He manages to keep me on a low land count and i get no land tax. Dystopia gets my creatures and after sometime he drops a nether void. A lonely factory starts hitting me and as soon as a masticore hits play, I concede.

Game 3: armors are definitly out this time, as I side in more disenchant effects, but side out my armors. I drop an early lions, land tax, pearl, monk and eventually a null rod.

I manage to get the best over dystopia this time, and i dropped two land taxes. Null Rod definitly wins the game as he was going to play keg, but couldn't do so. Eventually I win, and I have the victory at 2-1.

Note: the reason for which pernicious deed should be included in nether void, is because it's just so damn good! It totally wrecks moxen, weenies, enchantments. I've tested it before, and also because Null Rod stops kegs and masticores cold.

well..if I played pernicious deed, I'd have to add green, and I think void is better as mono black

I like void, and i consider it by far the best mono-black there is now. I still prefer to use green for deed. Of course this is like that discussion I usually have about splashing colors in ww:P

I've been running green in my void deck and like it a whole lot better. With green for deeds (regrowth and sylvan are good too)a void deck has answers to cards/situations that mono black doesn't. But overall, I think it ultimately comes down to each persons style of play. If I were using hymms as well as duress for more of a discard type of void, I'd keep it mono black and settle for kegs.

WK - Congrats on the "W". :)
