Killing 2 birds with one stone: I've just moved close to Davis Square (and YMG), so I'm itching to play some Type 1. There was a Boston thread earlier...if you're in the area, drop me a line and we'll play, I'm woefully out of practice.

And to tip my hand, here's my current version of my Keeper deck. I've reworked it somewhat so I'm not sure of the mana base. I've removed the Blessings to take full advantage of the Will, but at the same time I really like running 2 Oaths in the side. I have no clue what the local meta-game is, but I imagine it's a lot of Sligh, Suicide Black, etc. with fewer P9 decks simply because Type 2 dominates the scene.

Blue (19)
2x Morphling
4x Force of Will
4x Mana Drain
1x Counterspell
1x Time Walk
1x Ancestral Recall
4x Fact or Fiction
1x Mystical Tutor
1x Misdirection

Green (2)
1x Regrowth
1x Sylvan Library

Black (6)
1x Vampiric Tutor
1x Demonic Tutor
1x The Abyss
1x Mind Twist
1x Diabolic Edict
1x Yawgmoth's Will

White (5)
1x Dismantling Blow
1x Disenchant (should it be a Seal?)
1x Swords to Plowshares
1x Moat (until I get a better feel for the local game)
1x Balance

Mana Sources (28)
7x Mox/Sol/Lotus
1x LoA
1x Strip Mine
3x Wasteland
4x City of Brass
4x Tundra (WW of Moat)
1x Undiscovered Paradise
3x Underground Sea
1x Tropical Island
3x Island

Aside from the 2 Oaths and a Zuran Orb, the SB is in a state of flux--suggestions? Are the Oaths worth running without the Blessings? I've thought about adding more red to the board and cutting down on green.

If only I was just a little closer to Boston...Although here on the Cape we have large Type I tourneys every week.
