I didn't save the logs because there wasn't much to them.
Gzeiger won the roll. My opening hand had land, Abyss, and Moat, so I parised. My new hand had Wasteland and Academy. I laid Wasteland and killed his City. Then I dropped Academy and he scooped because he doesn't run Lingering Mirage.
I sided out Zuran Orb, Moat, Yavimaya Coast. and Diabolic Edict for Jester's Cap, Duress, Ivory Mask and Tormod's Crypt.
Game two I dropped a turn 1 LoA and Tormod's Crypt. I cast Time Walk on turn 2 and again on the legacy. I Drained a Defense Grid and dropped Ivory Mask. I eventually drew Demonic Tutor and got Tolarian Academy with it (I also had 5 artifacts by this point.) Eventually I got Mystical Tutor for Stroke of Genius, which then produced a Fact or Fiction, which then produced the Vampiric Tutor for Jester's Cap that I needed for the win.
So now I'm 3-0-1 in matches and 7-2 in games.

But seriously, if you scoop to an opposing Academy there is something wrong with your deck - e.g. no Capsize?
or more likely no lingering mirage..the mirage is awsome in academy!

I can only say that so far I am happy with Capsize. But then again, who plays with Academy in the moxless realm of Vienna? So maybe I would change my mind if I would have to face a tourney at NG. But then again, why would I want to play Academy THERE?! (except maybe for the challenge to beat Legend Blue with *cough* combo)
I'd rather play Stompy or Null and Void (hehe, would be nice to beat Matt's Keeper with his own NetherVoid deck). Or go with the masses and play Keeper.
I joined Matt on that issue long ago, but unfortunately we are still playing the decklists we submitted months ago, so I can't make that change. I still think I'm right about maindeck Defense Grids though.
I do play Capsize, but my position in that game was hopeless anyway - he had a full hand, and I had no lands in play or in hand (Academy in hand ). I wasn't about to resolve a Capsize, even if I could find it.
One thing...
How do you play Defense Grid and Helm in the smae deck? Might as well make them Sapphire Medallions.
