Game one I started being mana screwed and waited about for about 4 turns before I got to 2 mana. Mako facted at the end of my turn and I drained it. She untaps and casts timetwister and passes the turn. I untap and have 4 extra mana to play with. Powder keg and back to basics both come out and basically wreck all of her mana and she does not recover.
Game two we trade nearly our entire hands early over silly counterwars. I untap and fact and take a morphling only pile. She doesnt draw anything and I cast morphling and she can't stop it.
Noooooooooooooooooo! Damnit, my two picks (Meridian and Mako) didn't make it. It's all up to J.P. and his big, bad maindeck Moat (because of the 1,000s of Tubbies decks in the field) now.
