Let's see if I can be the first one with a report up for the TOC.

My deck choice for the tourney is Domain, not so much because I expect a big performance,but because it is so much darn fun (in theory). I was leaning towards something else, but when I thought up the deck and the evil Rakso deleted it (twice) , I knew i had to represent.

Of course, I wasn't meant to get matched up against sligh .......


Game 1

We both mulligan. I get a 'quick domain' achieving hand, he gets a turn 1 cadet. I balance away 2 creatures turn 3, and growth up my full domain by turn 4. Then i draw all land. He never finds another creature, but burns me out (with help from a scroll)

Game 2

He gets only mox monkeys and a scroll for early offense, and I set up my domain. I win a fight over allied strategies for 4, and drop morphling. We trade direct damage for superman damage, and superman wins when he fails to topdeck one last burn spell. I never see my top secret anti sligh tech.

Game 3

Double mulligans hurt. So does losing your only G source to a strip mine. with sylvan library in hand. I squeak out an abyss which buys me time, and he is stuck with a REB glut in hand, but is scrolling me successfully. I need an answer and get strategies off of sylvan library, but he has mana open and multiple blasts (I am sure of at least 2 at that stage ... but he showed me 5 after) and the only way I can force through is by ACCing my 2 force of wills, which would get me scrolled out as I am low on life. The scrolls get me and I lose. Again, my brilliant tech hides deep within my deck.
