Wow, I'm dumb. Game one was silly, with me being bashed in by ETP's heavy guys. Game two, I sideboard in Keldon Vandals over Blood Moon and went to work. I stabilized at 3 life after stuffing all of his guys and having him drop a Crypt. After a single Crypt hit and me getting out an active Scroll plus Welder plus Su-Chi plus Juggernaut, we go onto game 3.
Here's why I'm dumb: I fail to pay the upkeep on a Masticore that could've held him off a little longer. It probably didn't matter, as I topdecked land and he got out a Metalworker + Jar + burn + Karn in quick succession and stomped me.
its a shame neither of us had gotten the log files on game two (the one kird won) because that was the most interesting game of the match imo.
I was ahead right away, and seemed like i was going to just run him over and then he just systimatically ruined all my resources until i had no way of winning.
A bit more detail, please?
I've been so busy I haven't read ToC reports expect for one, but a Stacker mirror would make interesting reading.
Also, what would your opinion on FTK against Stacker be? It is close to Vandal's cc, but it can target Welder.
There isn't much really to say except for game 2, where he got out an early 'Core followed by a Triskelion. When he mostly tapped out for the missile-launching artifact, I dropped my sideboarded Vandals and offed the Core, leaving him with the Triskelion and mana. He then used one of the counters to peg the Vandals, and smashed me down to 5. Then, with the Triskelion a crucial 3/3, I Incinerated it, going down to 3 from the counters. With me at 3, I proceeded to get out (probably not in the right order) a Su-Chi, a Jugg, a Scroll, and an active Welder. That stopped his guys and proceeded to win game 2 by swinging with a Jugg through his lonely Su-Chi.
Otherwise, the story was me not drawing permanent acceleration and ETP whacking me with men until I died.
