Very tight match-up that is not favorable for me at all. In an oversimplification of the matches it went like this:

G1: Quick Covetous Dragon lays the beats. He was manascrewed.
G2: My turn for manascrew as he follows my turn 1 welder up with an Oath that turns up a Spirit of the Night. Bad times.
G3: Early Welder resolves. I was slightly mana screwed thanks to his recursion of Wastelands via Wisdom. I eventually get up to 4 mana and drop a masticore. He d-blows with kicker. On my turn I tap my sapphire, weld it into the 'Core, and drop a Dragon. On his turn he proceeds to cast Ancestral 3 TIMES but luckily doesn't get the much needed balance.

Very close and fun games vs a very competitive opponent.
