Not too standard. I admit it was poorly built as I couldn't test it properly. It was built to use Standstill to be a sort of Zooful deck.
Explainations: I know I know 4 cadets 2 pups? I though at the time damage outraced the cadets' disloyal tendancies. Booo. 3 Disenchant? Well it was a gamble, but Moat, Abyss the notorious Oath of Druids smash this deck to peices, and the evil evil Cursed Scroll hurts me against Sligh (which Dave- never drew btw). Mana base looks shaky, but in goldfish, and these games, it pulled through just fine.
Both games were really, really similar. We play early crearues then kill them with burn. Eventually I gain the upper hand, slam down a gamebreaker and am burned out in response. The thing that surprised me was I was burned out from 12 and 14 life! First game is was double PoP, next it was incnerate-chain-chain-blast after my Wheel, and me caught without a FoW.
The thing that sickens me is I saw 2 standstills all match. One I actually played (even though I got 12 PoP damage in the face for a response) and one in the hand I wheeled up, right before I died.
Kudos to Dave- for burning me out at over half my life total, and putting up with my tired stupidity.
Slops to me for being smashed from 14 by burn
