I'd like some advice. I have a few Summer magic cards and I'd like to sell them or trade them for the gross amounts I hear they fetch.
The obvious answer is to use Ebay but I don't have a rating there (well, maybe 1 since I once bought there). I think people would be put off buying from someone with no rating from a strange country (Slovakia). Therefore I'd probably end up with a lot less for the cards than they are worth.
Trading is tricky because how much the cards are worth is only known to the few collectors who want them , there are no price guides (why Duellist said Hurricane was $3000, I'll never know, I assume it was an uncommon {RV and 4th had it as an uncommon}). Most traders decline to make a first offer. In general I'd rather have the money anyway.
What do you think I should do?

I have scanned the geddon and Ritual and I can get the others scanned.The cards were traded at Gaelcon, Dublin and are all M or NM

Well, random note about Hurricane: it was misprinted Blue in Summer Magic (where, on the other hand, Serendib was printed normally). However, it is one of the rarest misprints ever, and is probbaly the most expensive tournament legal card.

But in RV and 4th Hurricane was uncommon so I assume in Summer magic it was also uncommon. Even as a misprint, I can't see why it is more expensive than Serendib (an un'misprint').
Incidently I traded away my Summer magic Serendib for 4 Serendibs and four multilands the weekend I got it. Looks like a bad deal now!
Were they at least Arabian Serendibs?
The fact that Hurricane is an uncommon makes no differance at all. Most of the Summer Magic cards were destroyed by WOTC, making the misprint Hurricane *very* rare indeed.

Nope they were plain old Serendibs. On a positive note the multis helped make my decks better and a won a lot of cards at my local store (free entry, first prize pack from AQ to Ice age!!). The cards I kept have sat in a box for years so the trade wasn't that bad!!

I still don't understand why Hurricane is so expensive, surely the Serendib is a rare and a different picture.
