I'd like to remind people who use Irc, that their is a quasi official Bdominia chatroom on irc that was begun by the people in the type one mill. This is primarily a magic channel, where people can talk strategy and get games, However it is not limited to that. Anyone interested in magic the gathering is certainly welcome to just hang out etc.
Its on the newnet server and is called #bdchat, for those looking to find it.
Maybe temporarily, but I think most regular visitors interested in chatting are already using #bdchat. Not that I wouldn't love to see activity there again...
And I remember making a reply *somewhere* that we've had one even longer in gamesnet or something like that, also called #bdchat. Would have behooved you all to check the "chat" option we had for you before starting a new one. Ah well, can't be helped now...
ours isnt very new, weve had it for months and it works great... ive been to gamesnet, and your #bdchat isnt there. Perhaps you are mistaken about the server or name of your chat, or perhaps you were trying to say that you 'had' an irc chat, rather than implying you 'have' one.
No, I wasn't trying to say that. I was saying that we have a chat, not that we had one. I know perfectly well what I was saying.
However, I don't use IRC and haven't since I declared to myself the aforementioned room a lame duck, and haven't cared since. My last working knowledge is that we have one. It is more than entirely possible in the ensuing year and a half that it has since been removed, rendering my statement mis-informed and therefore false. I would never have stated that we had a working IRC chat if I did not firmly believe we had one, let alone "imply" that we did, knowing we did not.
I do not like being called a liar. A liar deliberately spreads mistruths. I simply hadn't kept up on the facts, and so the spread of mistruth was entirely unintentional. No, you did not outright use the term "liar," but it was implied, no? ;)
I was not implying you are a liar, but implying that you made statement as though they were factual without taking to time to check your facts.
Im am positive that you believed there was a channel in gamesnet on bdchat, and im just informing you that i checked and it was not there.
As for the tone of my writing, it was brought on by a feeling that you were attacking the bdchat channel on newnet by saying that it was a problem that "can't be helped now...". And for implying that i was perhaps too dumb or lazy to check the 'chat' option that the site has. We have checked it, and felt that an irc channel was needed because no other irc bd channel existed at that time and irc chats were deemed preferable to most people. Im assuming you meant nothing by your remarks, but i was prompted to write in a snide way anyway, because i am a silly petty man. i apologize for the implications left by my previous post.

Anyway, I'm curious as to why no one outright said, "Hey maintainer, yer friggin IRC Chatroom isn't there!! Wassup wit dat?" If that was done via e-mail, then I wouldn't know about it since it'd probably have been directed to Shadow.
Anyhoo, apology accepted, no harm done, and I just wanted to argue back, even theough I knew you were fooling around anyway (my own reply was laced with sarcasm itself in recognition of the fact).
