Alright...so how do you guys want this? I mean, maybe it should be in an Ice Age....maybe it should be Desert....I do think you should create a few new races and change the rules a bit.

I think you should try looking at some of the other MTG RPing boards, use some of the styles from that.
Ill suggest you check out the Roelplaying secton rules and some of the posts in http://urzaslegacy.homestead.com/tolaria.html RPing section, enititled Duelin.
use the Navigation ink.

we pretty much have the basic foundation set down, were just figuring out some of the last things we need to. (namely the clan and god situation) other then that, we almost ready to start

oh, and the first two are me and the last is someone else.
So...do you want some religions? Cause I can do that.
And I can do clans and stuff, if ya want.

well, if you read much on this board, youd see that were gonna have a clan that worships a god. Both the clan and god are the equivalent of true neutrals in DnD, they are there to try and keep the mill alive and kicking. shadow will play the part of the god and the clan. Its basically a way of enforcing the rules in an RP sense, plus it keeps us from actually giving a list of rules that must be followed, besides no overly powerful characters(we mean gods and the like....i think shadow would have to give you permission to create a god, or let your character become a god/demi-god.) this clan is very secretive, and there are an extremely few(im saying less then 5, possibly none) amount people outside of the clan that can communicate with the god, and no one outside of the clan knows much about the god at all. The clan and god will have portals scattered around the world that allow a PC to travel to a meeting hall outside of the world(or in the middle....somewhere unaccessible except by portal) the clan and god will "police" this hall to make sure theres no fighting. but nothing real specific has been said about the clan or god(mainely the name...but almost everything else too) coughcoughshadowcough

if you want to be involved, just create a city, guild, clan, whatever you want, as long as it aint super-powerful or something.

I haven't decided if I'm going to let other real people join that clan yet or not, btw. The information will be on the companion page, when I get that up.

Also, you don't have to create a whole city or guild to participate; you can just "make" a character.

Ill check it out, is there like a place with stats or something for characters? When I was here a long time ago it was a little....inconclusive...to say the least, but I dont know if its changed or something.

just describe your character pretty in depth(at least his physical features and personality, you dont have to have a history already set, and is personaliy isnt set in stone...it could change). for exmple, if you wanted him to have high strength and constitution in DnD terms, try something like this:

darzim(my character, cant take em:)) is a little bit stronger then the average strength for a dwarf, and can take the typical amazing amount of punishment most dwarves can, but he is pretty slow, and has a sort of bad personality, even for dwarve.

well, i included charisma and dexterity. also, what he looks like:

darzim is only 4 foot, small evenfor dwarves. his beard is about averag, and he has a couple scars on his face.

then a lil about his personality:

hes a calm fellow, but whenever he goes into battle he goes into an amazing rage where he cant feel anything and hs seemingly super dwarven stength. he tends to walk away from major mental challenges that hedont like, but if it has to do with weapons and armor, he'll be the one to figure it out.

well, just an example...
