Does anybody think that this deck list is a viable Illusions-Donate??

it looks viable. i would like to get some info after you actually test it vs the top decks. see how it does vs budde's illusions, reanimator, oath, 3-duece, junk.
I think red goes a lot farther than white as a splash color. Abeyance is ok, but doesn't justify another color. I'd also be a little nervous about running wrath on only 8 white sources (and wastable sources at that). And if you must splash white--why are you leaving out white's best asset--disenchant and friends? Surely you can make some sb room for some seals or something.
Well I'm going to a PTQ this weekend and I'll play either this or Budde's deck. It's pretty much up for grabs....but my friends keep telling me that there's no way this deck can do anything, but I really like the delaying of the opponents deck for a turn or two it seems like it would create a real advantage. I also just thought about either taking out the extra abeyance or an orim chant, or most likely the WOG's and adding some type of enchantment removal.Any other suggestions??
Budde's is just a lot stronger. Red already has wrath of god (for the litle fast creatures anyway, which are the ones that worry you anyway). It's pyroclasm, and it's much more efficient. The only problem it doesn't clear is a turn 2 reanimated fatty, but wrath of god might not save you from that either. Red also has an answer to counterspells. Pyroblast can't be run main (at least right now), but overall, it does the job as well as abeyance. Also, red gives you fire/ice which is probably the most clever card in the entire deck. It deals with small creatures (possibly gaining card advantage), deals with minor life gain, is fetchable with merchant scroll, and can cycle (and taps something while it does so). The only thing in white that i'd even remotely want in white is seal (maybe swords, but i doubt it), and even that is not a huge deal.

I have also thought about dropping the Reefs for Mountains to allow for 3x Ruinations in the SB.
As for your deck Camron, Red is really better than white in this deck. Red has all the goods to deal with the major challanges to this deck.
