Now THIS is a nice rogue aggro-control! With lots of people using Fire, this is major lol!

i like it... but it is weaker due to the fact that blue is much weaker due to all the hate. Mainly trix. that is why he missed T8 at 9th place, all the blue had dried up.

By Burimpu on Tuesday, December 11, 2001 - 01:38 am:

Hey look! Quirion Dryad!

Didn't you write a small article about a Quirion Dryad deck on StarCity, Rakso?

By Myre Skeleton on Tuesday, December 11, 2001 - 04:29 pm:

I'm glad that the little Dryad that quite apparently couldn't is getting a small corner of the spotlight.

The name makes absolutely no sense whatsoever to me, but cool deck.

I would also be interested in seeing that article, I'll look for it in the meanwhile.

miracle grow:Makes that green critter grow and grow ^_^

Now, i'm wondering, why isn't he using B2B?

By Intrepid911 (Intrepid) on Tuesday, December 11, 2001 - 07:11 pm:

might be difficult to cast, it is 3 mana and all. . .plus it shuts down almost half of his land.

By Psychotic Fool on Tuesday, December 11, 2001 - 07:44 pm:

I love that deck....I was getting the cards together before the grand prix was over.

By Myre Skeleton on Wednesday, December 12, 2001 - 04:30 pm:

Has anyone thought about using Douse for anti-red? Infinate counters based on your mana! Put chill and douse together, and what do you have? A really dead red deck.

That's only if you fear red though.

By Guapeton on Wednesday, December 12, 2001 - 07:30 pm:

Sligh is non existant right now so 4 hydroblast should be enough, besides they are good against a lot of other decks...

By Xequecal on Sunday, December 16, 2001 - 11:01 pm:

Um, just how the hell is that deck going to deal with a single Wasteland?

By dustintherandom on Monday, December 17, 2001 - 12:30 am:

havnt seen that as being a problem. generally once the one land hits play you shouldnt have any problems. there is enough digging power to find another land or another grant etc. you can always just gush in response as well. if people start to switch over to mike long's version it might actually be a good idea to run that one forest main deck just because of all the non basic hate that is around right now.

By Guapeton on Monday, December 17, 2001 - 12:42 am:

I didnt quite get the point of running wild mongrels...anyone?

Im trying a version similar to Longs but with nimble mongoose instead.

By Zach on Monday, December 17, 2001 - 01:58 am:

My team ran a version of this at the ptq yesterday... I wasn't able to attend so I don't know how they did, but they removed the merfolk for small fliers since they expected less blue. Cloud of Faeries is pretty dumb when combined with the dryad... and as for wasteland, it's not a problem. The deck runs perfectly on 2 land, and land grand gets green on demand. It's pretty strong, from what testing I've done against it.
