the newer u/r trix decks replaced the b2b in their sideboards with ruinations, but I think b2b is still better in many common matchups including the popular supergro variants
I would like to hear other people's opinions about which is more effective.

IMHO Ruination is the better option cause its a sorcery and not a permanent, agaisnt a counterless opponent(3 deuce, pt junk, etc) a ruination is game but a btb can be easily removed. Much like hydroblast is superior to chill or pyroblast to scald...
Also, they got gush and daze to return lands to their hands and play them again, untapped.

Ruination does more against things like junk because they can remove B2B (and 3 deuce may even pyroblast it). Against miracle grow, there is room for debate, but ruination worries only about gush/daze in response, while B2B can be circumvented for multiple turns by gush. This is just a suspision, however, as I have tested neither.

PS. you will need a lot more than ruination/B2B to beat miracle grow anyway
