I used to have a friend who played a reap/lace deck ages ago in type 1 and I wondered if anyone has an extended-legal decklist? My budget is not a problem.
Probably not because Lotus Petal is banned in Extended and I don't think you can get a mana engine going.
Besides, Trix is in the better colors already.
I made an attempt at the deck, and my current record on apprentice is 0-6 (nice). Here it is:

In theory, the Lion's Eye Diamond and Reaps can generate infinite mana to stroke them out (or get infinite turns). I know trix is all one colour, but it is very susceptable to enchantment detruction.
But as you can see from my record, the deck isn't good enough (it could be because I have only just started playing the deck). Any improvements would be very appreciated.
A couple holistic wisdom can work well in this sort of deck.
I had a version with 4 Helm of Awakenings and 4 Frantic Search, which are ok alone, but get you a lot of mana when combined with Reap. Still, the decks win percentage was awfull, so I buried it. I'll see if I can find the deck list somewhere and post it.
rakso you can use mox diamond instead just tap it in response to the land discard on the stack then let it go to the yard .
you can't use mox diamond that way since they made the discard part of the play cost.
