I will save discussion for any questions you may ask me about the below list. I will say that I chose this list intentionally to have a deck where playing both W and G was feasible, and there wasnt a better option. Note that a solid B/U/r or even B/U/G deck could also be made, but I like this better:

1cc
Thornscape Apprentice

2cc
Might Weaver
Nomadic Elf
Quirion Elves
Thornscape Familiar
Samite Pilgrim
Hobble
Fertile Ground
Scorching Lava
Gerrard's Command

3cc

Mirrorwood Treefolk
Razorfoot Griffin
Aurora Griffin
Aurora Griffin
Voracious Cobra

5cc
Treefolk Healer
Stone Kavu
Skizzik

8 Forest
5 Plains
4 Mountain

Not a lot of removal, but aggressive and will run your opponent down. I like it. Now let's read Nev's post!

that is very very close to the U/B/r build I was working on. However, when I noticed thta the non-black build had a similar number and quality of removal effects, as well as some very powerful cards, I went for it. Your build is perfectly acceptable, though, and I couln't say which is better without actually testing them. I guess it's the weak early creature base that really nags me about the traditional build here.

I don't know if you've ever seen a Mirorwood Treefolk in action, but it's really strong. You can't let 2 of them in your sideboard. They totally stall an opponent's attack, and more than often, they won't be blocked when attacking. Sure, it's just a creature and can be destroyed, but I think it's the kind of creature that really indicates to you what creatures to play, just like a Dragon or even a Master.
