repulse v. exclude in limited, what do you think?
It would seem that there are advantages to both.
Thanks

Both are obviously strong. However, while Repulse is almost always usable, Exclude can occasionally sit in your hand while monsters swing in. Also, Repulse can be used proactively, while Exclude forces you to hold back- not always a good thing.
While I see both as solid cards, and often potential first picks, if given a choice, I would generally choose Repulse.
It really depends on your deck. Repulse is a tempo card, and so works better in decks with a more aggresive clock, while exclude is better for more controlling decks. Exclude also gets better if you have a hole in your 3-drops on your mana curve (which happens a lot in u-w, which has several weenies and tons of 4 drops, but often is light on turn 3 plays)
Repulse, too. Depends on the U/W deck, too.
I personally play aggressive decks (yes even aggressive UW) so I would take Repulse in most situations.
I would definitely say Repulse as it can be used defensively as well. Using it to protect that dragon incase someone tries to terminate it can surely be helpful.
Repulse is a much better all around card in draft than exclude, but exclude is permanent removal so it also has its shiny moments as do other cards.

I generally prefer aggresion (and thus repulse as well) but be careful not to underrate exclude. In limited (where everyone plays creatures), exclude is always card advantage, whereas repulse is just cycling with tempo advantage unless you a) respond to a creature enchantment being cast, or b) save a creature of your own that the opponent spent a card or more to kill.
Repusle is far FAR superior that exclude it is not even a dicussion imo.
